If a family is made up of parents and children, a gaming community is comprised of players who come together to play regularly, particularly in multiplayer games. The number of of these gaming communities vary, and could be anywhere from five to a thousand. Then, too, its life span is variable, depending on how long it takes to finish a game. It could be weeks, months, or even years. Gaming communities, quite surprisingly, are very organized. They are often grouped by structure, and come with their own clean leaders. These clan leaders are given the authority to exercise some form of control over the clan or guild, deleting a player, for example. This section contains material relating to gaming communities.
