What is DoD Directive 8140?

The New Horizons Learning Group’s dedicated government team will be there to help you as you transition from Directive 8570 towards Directive 8140. The DoD-8140 model is based upon the National Institute of Standard and Technology’s (NIST) National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education standard. This model will help to define job titles and categories more clearly.
New Horizons Learning Group has both the training expertise and the capability to train Department of Defense personnel and contractors to meet the exact certification requirements of Directive 8040. The new framework allows for multiple classes, certifications and formalized training to make an individual “certified” in this task.
